About Us

The Team
Alex Mungham (@AlexJMungham) is a third year CCFP-Emergency Medicine resident at the University of Ottawa. He did his medical school and family medicine residency at the University of Ottawa. His interests include rural medicine, emergency medicine, and FOAMed. He is involved with curating resources for ILearnEM and the biweekly content updates.

Omar Anjum (@omaranjis a first year Emergency Medicine resident at the University of Ottawa with an interest in emergency medicine and FOAMed. He completed his medical school at the University of Ottawa and is one of the co-founders and content developer for ILearnEM. He hopes to continue to contribute to the FOAM community in his future career.

Mohamed Ali is a second year medical student at the University of Ottawa with an interest in Emergency Medicine. He is a graduate of Western University and currently the Emergency Medicine Interest Group executive for 2018-2019. He is a content developer for ILearnEM and looks forward to being more involved in the FOAMed community.

Hans Rosenberg (@hrosenberg33) is an Emergency Physician at The Ottawa Hospital and assistant professor at the University of Ottawa. He did his medical school at the University of Toronto and residency at the University of Ottawa. His interests include FOAMed and dental emergencies. He is currently in charge of the Social Media platforms for the Department of Emergency Medicine, including the EMOttawa Blog.

ROSENBERG

Andrea Lo (@DrAndreaLo) is a staff emergency physician at Humber River Hospital and Michael Garron Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. She has an interest in both FOAMed and quality improvement and founded the ILearnEM project while doing her Emergency Medicine fellowship (CCFP-EM) at the University of Ottawa. Originally from Windsor, Ontario, she did her medical school at the Schulich Windsor campus and her Family Medicine residency at the University of Toronto. Previous projects include founding the Schulich Windsor Health Lecture Series – a public health series for the Windsor community, an education video for parents to watch in doctors’ waiting rooms before Well Baby Visits as a quality improvement initiative, and a website with a collection of point-of-care resources for the family physician.
